THE STORY

THE GOD OF EMPTY HEADS is an erotic text-based adventure game. You are on a quest: to find The God of Empty Heads, after he stops responding to calls for help from across the Gold Ocean. Journeying to the far edge of the world you find the island the God called home, overrun with dangers and mystery, where reality broke a millennia ago and never recovered. 

As you follow the trail of the missing God you'll meet numerous handcrafted characters, uncover the mysteries of the Gold Ocean, and learn to cast powerful magics; along the way you'll have the opportunity to indulge in numerous kinky sexual encounters. Will you use your growing magical abilities to uncover the truth and better the ocean, or will you become too enamoured, indulging yourself in the pleasures at The End of the World?

THE GAMEPLAY

• Meet a wide variety of unique characters from across the Gold Ocean, from humans to animal-folk, centaurs to sentient goo monsters, and far, far stranger, of a variety of genders and body shapes. Each character has their own personality, problems, and desires, and with The God of Empty Heads missing, you'll find yourself stepping up to help them.
• The Gold Ocean teems with mysteries to be explored, from the boiling ocean and burning snow to the missing Gods and the ruinous Collision.
• From your simple beginnings you'll find yourself growing in magical power and knowledge, utilising more potent components and skills in spellcasting; from your humble beginnings casting simple magics you will eventually cast spells that change you and those around you, and bend reality to your demands.
• As you play time will progress, and exploring in the morning, afternoon, or evening will reveal new characters, opportunities, and secrets. The weather and seasons continue to change, and even the cycles of the moon may impact on your magical abilities.
• Craft your character, and as your journey continues find new and interesting ways to alter yourself. Whether you want to bulge with muscle or ripple with fat, whether you want to be human or something far more bestial, and whether you want to dress like a sailor or in nothing at all, you'll be able to do it. 
• Explore memories, dreams, and other realms, and see ways in which your journey might have ended, in tragedy or glory.

THE DEVELOPMENT

THE GOD OF EMTPY HEADS is being developed by Milo Ogmios in Twine, a tool for creating interactive stories. 

Having created most of the general systems for the game- the magic system, the exploration and relationship systems, etc.- I'm excited to focus on writing fun and kinky content. I plan to add numerous more characters and areas to explore, new magical components to utilise and Spells to cast, and continuations of the ongoing storylines; I'll be putting out collections of these new pieces of content together as themed 'Releases'. 

As this game is still heavily in development I cannot guarantee that saves will work between Release versions, and you may encounter bugs and errors as you progress- please report any issues on the itch.io page.

I have a Patreon- if you enjoyed the game and would like to support it's development, your support would be most appreciated. There I'll run polls on what sort of content and features should be included, post insights into the development of the game, answer questions, and post in-progress versions of the new major Release of THE GOD OF EMPTY HEADS to try out ahead of the general release.

Eventually I'd like to hire someone to work on the look of the game, proficient in HTML and CSS, to make it look a little less amateurish; I'd also like to commission a proper logo for the game. In the far, far future, if this project is popular, I'd love to be able to devote more time to it.
